For over 450 years, Jesuit priests and brothers have experienced an amazing journey in serving the Church in new and unexpected ways. Men on the move; are expected to do anything or go anywhere to help people experience Jesus Christ in their daily lives. The faithful service of all Jesuits at the school had helped to form young Christian men who have been called to the priesthood to exercise generosity and compassion towards others as a way of life. Some of these “Men for Others” have also returned to the school, where they have continued to fulfill their commitment to Jesus Christ by educating the next generation of alumni.
Belen Jesuit is a member of the Society of Jesus Caribbean Province, which consists of the sections of Miami, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, and Guyana.

Concédenos, te lo pedimos, hombres que sean

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain. The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline. In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty. The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
