Tombola Preparation Underway

Teresa Martinez | Director of Communications
Tombola is upon us and setup for the rides and booths are underway.
Due to construction, Tombola will primarily be staged in the Faculty Lot. It is for this reason that drop off will be adjusted during the week leading up to the festival. First, our families are asked to arrive at school a little earlier than they usually do in anticipation of the traffic.

Additionally, drop-off vehicles will enter through Gate #2 and exit through Gate #1. Senior and Juniors who park at the school will continue to enter through Gate #5. Additional police officers will be on hand to alleviate the traffic flow.

Pre-sale ride tickets and bracelets can be purchased in the Office of the Dean of Men and online. Get a great deal by planning ahead!
  • 20 TICKETS FOR $16.00
  • 1 BRACELET FOR THE WEEKEND $60.00
    [bracelets are pre-sale only]
Tickets puirchased online will be available for pickup 12 hours after purchase at the Office of the Dean of Men (D-116). You may also pick up your tickets at the ticket booth on Friday, Saturday or Sunday of Tombola. For more information contact Gigi Garcia-Chang at ggarciachang@belenjesuit.org or (786) 621-4144.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
