Get Ready for Tombola 2025

Teresa Martinez | Director of Communications
The Annual Fr. Dorta-Duque, S.J. Memorial Tombola will be held from January 31 to February 2, 2025. Tombola is one of the most anticipated events of the year! For three days, our campus comes alive with students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and the community at large. Even prospective students and their families grace our grounds, enjoying the extraordinary atmosphere generated by a tradition that goes back over 100 years.

We have so many fun events planned. The festivities kick off with the Culinary Extravaganza on January 25th, during which we will welcome the best restaurants and vendors for a Carnaval de Sabores. This event has sold out, but tickets remain part of sponsorship packages. Learn more about becoming a sponsor, and you can secure tickets to the Culinary, the VIP Wine Tasting, and more. Click here for more information. If you are a restaurant owner or know of a restaurant interested in participating in the Culinary Extravaganza, we ask that you email Culinary@belenjesuit.org

Tickets are on sale for the following:

Back by popular demand is Friday Night in the Quad! On January 31, enjoy live Latin music, mojitos, beer, paella, churassco, pan con lechon, pan con bistec, pizza, and hamburgers from 7 p.m. to midnight.  Enjoy the start of Tombola weekend with an evening of dancing, fun and food! All ages are welcome. There is no admission price to enter. Food and beverages are à la carte.

Vendors interested in participating in the annual Tombola Bazaar are encouraged to email tombola@belenjesuit.org to receive the registration form and details. The bazaar will be held on February 1st and 2nd in the Roberto C. Goizueta Innovation Center.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
